LEGAL / TERMS
Terms of Use
1. Operator and scope
The website terminalusb.com and TERMINAL products are offered by IVANOVI I & G – 2022 LTD, UIC 206902792, email: terminalusb@protonmail.com ("we"). These terms govern access to the website, the TERMINAL USB Access Kit, activation codes and related instructions/software.
2. What TERMINAL is
TERMINAL is an interface for interacting with Internet Computer (ICP), Internet Identity and public blockchain services. The standard USB Access Kit is a physical medium containing instructions and access to the official TERMINAL address; it is not a bank product, deposit, investment product or custodial service.
3. Internet Identity and activation
- Access is through your own Internet Identity.
- An activation code is single-use and, after successful activation, is linked to one Internet Identity.
- Giving the physical USB to someone else does not transfer already activated personal access. A new user needs their own Internet Identity and separate activation code.
- Do not send us a recovery phrase, seed phrase, private key or password. We cannot restore an Internet Identity or reverse an irreversible blockchain transaction.
4. Orders, prices and payment
The current product price and contents are shown before an order is submitted. Card payments are processed by Stripe; ICP payments are made to the displayed blockchain address and are verified on-chain. Sending an enquiry or payment does not automatically confirm an order; confirmation is provided after payment and order details are checked.
Mandatory consumer-law rules apply to the physical product, digital activation code, delivery, withdrawal, non-conformity and refunds. Where the law requires explicit consent for immediate supply of digital content and loss of a withdrawal right, we will obtain that consent separately before supply.
Where a €10 ICP welcome credit is advertised, it is a one-time promotional credit for a verified TERMINAL USB order after successful activation. The ICP amount is calculated as €10 immediately before it is sent. It is not cash, investment income or a guarantee of future value. The applicable promotion terms are shown before ordering.
4A. TERMINAL Dial beta
TERMINAL Dial is a rules-based ckUSDC settlement feature currently offered as a beta. Before funding a deal, each participant sees the displayed settlement outcomes and independently approves their own blockchain transaction.
- Both sides lock the displayed deal price. If the buyer accepts, the seller receives the released deal value together with return of the seller’s own deposit.
- If the buyer rejects or the 72-hour review period expires, the buyer receives 50% of the price and the seller receives their own deposit plus the other 50%, subject to the applicable network fees shown in the interface.
- TERMINAL does not verify delivery, quality, identity or any factual claim and does not arbitrate disputes. Use Dial only with people you choose and start with small amounts.
- The interface displays a 1% TERMINAL service fee and applicable ckUSDC network fees before funding. New settled deals can show relevant ledger block references.
5. Licence and restrictions
Unless otherwise agreed in writing for a separate Developer/Business edition, the buyer receives a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use TERMINAL for lawful personal purposes. Unauthorised copying, distribution, resale, removal of protective notices, presenting it as your own product and bypassing the activation mechanism are prohibited. The full licence terms for the relevant product form part of the delivery.
6. Your responsibility
- Verify the official TERMINAL address and recipient before every transaction.
- Protect your Internet Identity recovery methods and devices.
- You are responsible for your decisions, transactions you approve and compliance with applicable laws, including tax obligations.
7. Risks and no financial advice
Blockchain transactions may be irreversible. Digital-asset prices are volatile and may change materially. TERMINAL does not provide investment, financial, legal or tax advice and does not guarantee profit, availability of external networks, market price or protection from every possible threat.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, TERMINAL is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not limit rights that cannot lawfully be limited, including mandatory consumer rights. We are not liable for losses caused by an incorrect recipient address, lost Internet Identity, compromised device, actions of a third-party service or digital-asset price movements, except where the law requires otherwise.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms for future use by publishing a new date on this page. Bulgarian law applies, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules in another EU Member State provide otherwise.
